My Favorite Restaurants in NYC

Although I’m not a huge foodie, I love the experience of eating at places with a nice ambience and vegetarian options that go beyond salads. I also love how diverse NYC is when it comes to different cuisines, which is why I rarely eat at the same place twice. Here are some of my all-time favorite restaurants that I wouldn’t mind revisiting a few more times ;)

GUPSHUP

115 E 18th St, New York, NY 10003

I went to GupShup for the first time to meet a few friends for brunch and LOVED it! I thought it was so amazing being able to try the Indian food I grew up eating with a Western twist. I had poha with pineapple, cauliflower naan with burrata, carrot waffle (with gajar ka halwa), and chai flavored ice cream. The second time, I had vada pav along with gobi naan (both pictured above). Absolutely delicious!! Looking forward to another trip soon and I highly recommend visiting!

LADURÉE NEW YORK- SOHO

398 W Broadway, New York, NY 10012

https://www.ammanyc.com/

I am OBSESSED with Ladurée! My best friend took me on my first trip here and I have been here a countless amount of times since then. Perfect place for a romantic date, brunch with the girls, tea and macaroons, or satisfying a craving for French food. I live for their rose-flavored tea, SAINT-HONORÉ ROSE FRAMBOISE (puff pastry, cream puff pastry, rose petal cream, raspberry compote, rose flavored Chantilly cream, raspberries), and ISPAHAN (macaron biscuit, rose petal cream, raspberries, lychees).

TONCHIN

13 W 36th St, New York, NY 10018

My first time trying Ramen was at this restaurant, and I think that was the best decision of my life. Their MISO GINGER RAMEN (pictured above) is vegan and so, so good! It contains homemade vegan noodles, vegan tonchin miso, soy meat, menma, cabbage, bean sprouts, shredded red pepper. I went with someone who I consider a “Ramen Expert” and this place was a big hit, especially my bowl!

ATRIUM DUMBO

15 Main St, Brooklyn, NY 11201

http://www.atriumdumbo.com/

I am in LOVE with the vibes here and the food was AMAZING! I couldn’t find the exact dish I ordered on the menu on their site, but I remember having some sort of mushroom spaghetti dish, and it was out of this world! Perfect place to stop over if you’re visiting DUMBO or the Brooklyn Bridge area!

LIC Market

21-52 44th Dr, Long Island City, NY 11101

http://www.licmarket.com/

I am dying to go back here again! Fanciest grilled cheese sandwich ever. I really have no words to describe the food here except it hit the spot. My mouth is watering just thinking about it! Great place to visit if you’re in Long Island City!
